PLE is led by people who have spent careers delivering large electrical projects, not managing spreadsheets from a distance.
Trent Ridings
With more than 25 years of experience in the electrical industry, Trent founded PLE in 2014 and holds QLD Electrical Contractor Licence No. 78210. He has personally overseen the delivery of electrical scopes on buildings up to 34 storeys, including Lagoon Apartments (twin 32/24-storey towers, 259 apartments), Upper House (34 storeys, 194 units), and the full pipeline of active PLE projects.
Trent's technical background spans power distribution, communications, EV infrastructure, nurse call, lighting control, and building technology. His involvement in design decisions means PLE's D&C output reflects genuine engineering experience, not just documentation management.
David Hall
David Hall manages PLE's tendering operations, subcontract administration, and business development. He is the primary point of contact for new project enquiries and tender submissions, and oversees PLE's commercial relationships with head contractors from initial scope review through to project close-out.
David works across the full pipeline — reviewing tender documents, preparing subcontract submissions, negotiating scopes, and managing the commercial relationship with builders throughout construction. His focus is on making PLE easy to work with from the first phone call to final handover.
Site Team
PLE's site team includes licensed electricians, site supervisors, and forepersons operating across active projects in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Every site team member holds a current Queensland electrical licence, construction industry induction (white card), first aid certification, and site-specific inductions for each project.
Our in-house draftspersons produce electrical design documentation, authority submissions, and as-built drawings — keeping the design process inside PLE rather than outsourcing to third parties.
