Service & Maintenance
PLE's service department supports buildings from the moment they go live — delivering ongoing maintenance, added extras for residents, and preprogrammed servicing schedules.
Post-Handover Service Department
Handing over a building is not the end of PLE's relationship with that project. Our service department supports body corporates, building managers, and strata managers in the months and years after practical completion — ensuring the electrical, communications, and building technology systems operate correctly and that residents and owners receive the experience the building was designed to deliver.
Because we built the systems, we understand them better than any third-party contractor brought in after the fact. That means faster diagnosis, fewer call-backs, and better outcomes for building managers and residents.
Scheduled Maintenance Services
- AS2293 annual emergency lighting inspection and functional testing
- Six-monthly emergency lighting inspections (where required)
- RCD testing and verification records
- Switchboard inspections and thermal imaging
- Common area lighting maintenance and lamp replacements
- EV charger electrical fault response and maintenance
- CCTV and intercom maintenance (Dahua and Ubiquiti UniFi Protect systems)
- Access control system maintenance (Inner Ranger Concept Inception)
- Dynalite DALI lighting control adjustments and scene updates
Added Extras for Residents and Owners
PLE's service team can deliver a wide range of added extras for individual apartment owners and residents — work that is too small for the main contractor but too complex for a general electrician unfamiliar with the building's systems. Examples include additional power outlets, feature lighting upgrades, home automation fitouts, EV charger installation to individual carspaces, AV system extensions, and intercom upgrades.
Preprogrammed Maintenance Plans
For building managers who prefer certainty, PLE offers preprogrammed maintenance plans — a fixed annual schedule of inspections, testing, and servicing agreed upfront, with a fixed price. This removes the need to manage ad-hoc service calls and ensures compliance obligations are met without the building manager needing to track individual due dates.
Emergency Fault Response
PLE's service team provides emergency fault response for buildings under maintenance agreement — general electrical faults, switchboard tripping, EV charger faults, CCTV outages, and intercom failures. Our familiarity with the building's systems means we can diagnose and resolve faults faster than a contractor attending for the first time.
PLE currently holds a maintenance agreement for Belvedere in Main Beach — a 127-apartment, 24-storey tower — and accepts service and maintenance enquiries for buildings we have not constructed.
